This course engages local homeless education liaisons, Title I managers, and special educators, (other interested individuals – school nurses, teachers, guidance counselors, administrators) in acquiring knowledge, skills, and perspectives on the educational barriers faced by children and youth in homeless situations and provides a framework to develop local strategies to identify and enroll homeless students while recognizing and addressing the unique challenges, needs, strengths, and talents of homeless students.
